I married Amy and Dee on a day in May, where the weather did not quite know what it was going to do, but as  good old “mother nature” would have it, around the presribed time for the wedding, she sent in the rain, and we had to go indoors.  And not that that was a bad thing because the venue, Chapel Farm, just off  Toodyay Rd, in Middle Swan, is a lovely rustic eating a drinking hole for a lot of the folks that live out that way…………. and not to mention those like myself who live south of the river…………….. it was just goregous to go inside as well. The colours in the venue just lovely

And, so, how did the WA country boy from Kalannie, Dee and the born and bred city girl, Amy meet. I can tell you that love sometimes has no boundaries and none of us really know when you may collide with  the “love of your life”.  And in this case, there is a sense of “serendipity”, too, because it turns out that Dee had, for 6 months, lived opposite Amy’s Grandmother.  And so, it is amazing that they didn’t meet then. They finally met through mutual friends and family, become friends then fell in love, and the reason we are here.
